to quote someone famous (cant remember the name...) - "There can be no
experimentation without limitation". I know I spend too much time just
f**ing about seeing what all my little toys do. I know this is necessary
too, but...

yeah, totally agree. If any of you have Reaktor check out steampipe2d - its
a model of a flute but it does violins, guitars, a passable electric piano,
and even some percussion! Amazing bit of programming. If this was a VST I
would pay for it for sure!

If you want new VST synths the best thing to do is assemble your ideas
coherently and mail off a list of your ideas to all the people who produce
VST at the moment. I'm think people like Vellocet, Dave Brown, Angus
Hewlett, Marc Poirer, the Muon people, and anyone who turns there hand to
this art. This is probably a good time for a call to arms - is there anyone
out there who is producing VST plugs/synths and would like some ideas?? I am
working on learning C++ myself so I can program some VST plugs (have done
soem already but I'm limited by my C++ skills...).

cheers
