The Logic Off Topic list

Hello,
    I am a new Logic user (I recieve my softwar tommorrow) and I 
have been using Digital Performer for about a year and ProTools 
for six years.  I bought Logic because I have heard it is a great 
creative tool.  I had a demo of Platinum and I really liked the 
sound of the plugins but I couldn't grasp a lot of the concepts of 
the objects and environment.  
     Anyway I just wanted some feedback from some more 
seasoned users of Logic.
