http://www.sonicstate.com/synth/index.cfm has more analog and old stuff combined
with new stuff than any other online place I've found.

For discussion try
http://www.synthzone.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true
where there's currently an analog synth discussion (among a bazillion other
things).

Also, you might check back issues of Keyboard magazine for interviews with
various players who might tip you off as to what they used on a given tune.
However, that won't tip you off to their "secrets" in programming, and half the
time, I think cats lie or can't remember what the hell they did anyway, it's
just some weirdassed patch they saved, so rotsaruck...  :)  Some things just
can't be emulated too well either, like a Mini-Moog with a ribbon controller.
Having a sample of a sound is a tiny portion of the battle, the real challenge
is in the behavior of the patch/ax.
