Not to start silly OT flame wars, but this is the kind of comment that made me get into audio recording to begin with. Too many pro audio folks have a habit of treating the audiophile community like a bunch of wackos, when they really could be learning a great deal about maximizing their recording gear with some basic (and scientific!)audiophile principles and tweaks. For an example, generally accepted DAW issues such as clock jitter and sampling rates had been discussed (and complained about) within the audiophile community long before they were even acknowledged and addressed by pro audio. Not that I don't have a sense of humor, but laughing at such reasonable concepts as power conditioning and vibration control is a bit closed minded. Oh, by the way, the hanging banana will compress your mids and narrow the soundstage if it isn't fully ripe. :)
