One of the things that makes OSX very flexible is all the different layers 
it's made of. However, the drawback to this is performance. Linux experiences 
the same problems with having different layers. OS 9 and WIndows don't give 
the flexibility, but give etra snappyness. I know I am not being very acurate 
because of my vagueness, but I am not up to typing much tonight.
