This kind of behavior is indeed very sad and regrettable (forgive my
spelling) and is certainly something I nor anyone I know would do or
condone. It is not solely a problem for persons of black African descent
though, for example, a friend at work, I know (He is English) is married to
a Korean (a very nice lady), they have two kids. When they go to Korea to
visit her relatives, people in the street shout "Yankee whore" to her.

So racism can be inflicted upon all races by all other races (though it
shouldnt be that way). This is  very very different to simple harmless
humour of the "its only in Spanish so cant be important" sort of thing.

It's nearly Christmas- and to paraphrase Douglas Adams- "a guy (named Jesus)
was once nailled to a tree for saying lets be nice to each other for a
change".

So, lets be nice to each other for a change eh?
