Small point, they are *not* vst. 
Anyway, it sounds like you may have messed with the 'Res' folder [inside
the Logic folder] The stuff in there should not be moved. I suggest
re-installing Logic.

Unless, of course, you mean the Instruments which are enabled for a
trial period ? In that case, it's possible you have incorrectly set the
computer's date, or have not set the Time Zone in the 'Date and Time'
control panel. 
Check the XSKey authorization page and see if they have expired.
