The Logic Off Topic list

Sometimes I look at the egroups page and there seem to be messages listed 
there that I never received ... and sometimes I seem to have received 
messages that do not seem to be at egroups. Is this usual? Or am I 
imagining things?

Indeed, is there any rhyme or reason to the order in which messages arrive? 
Sometimes I seem to get responses before the original question has arrived.
