I use VXA drives and tapes too. Exabyte bought the original maker, Ecrix. I
think this is a good option as far as storage capacity per tape (33 gig/66
gig compressed) and cost.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
