I've got the Waves bundle, sonic maximizer, etc. too ... and it wouldn't be 
so bad if you could simply do dual hard drives - and install OSX on one, and 
System 9 on the other - so you'd only be a reboot away from using all of 
those plugs. But evidently that wouldn't work if apple disables system 9 - in 
an effort to force everyone to osX. 

Of course, that is not confirmed. I read that the new Apple 20 in monitors 
(LCD) won't work in OS9 either, but in talking to someone, it turns out they 
will actually work. in this case - a scare tactic more than a firm 
announcement. 

There is also the Sonnet upgrade path. I've got only 400mhz now, so a dual 1 
gighz would be a nice upgrade.
