About to buy RME multiface and UAD-1 (any precautions)

I'm about to buy an RME multiface and a UAD-1 for use in Logic Gold 5.5 on a
Mac G3/350. Will it be sweet?

Can experienced users comment on this web sites points that totally disses
the UAD-1?
