Well, there have been reports of issues with RME products and OSX. I suggest
you do two things:

Wait a while after the G5 comes out and see if any reports (good or bad)
come out. 
Check the RME forum for any information - maybe Matthias Carstens will
answer any question you might have there. At the moment, because there are
no G5's out there, it is kind of difficult to know what issues there might
be ;-)
