This sounds interesting. I'm not really familiar with SondDiver. I'll have
to go to the web site and check it out. All this can be done from within
Sounddiver without having to save permanent cahnges to the synth?

Yeah, I've really been thinking about getting the EXS24. They seem so
versatile. Plus the advantage of being able to create your own samples.
