The Logic Off Topic list

OK, I chose a screen resolution through the OS 9.2.2 control strip 
that isn't supported by my monitor. Now I can't see the screen. I 
booted into OSX, deleted the montior preferences within the OS9 
system folder but when booting into OS 9.2.2 it still is going to the 
unsupported resolution. How do I get it to go to a supported 
resolution without being able to see the screen???

Apple Care tech support was incompetant and couldn't help me. Their 
suggestion: I obtain another monitor for the purpose of switching 
resolutions.

Please help ASAP!
