But, a few people contacted me off-list and I got the answer, and it worked!!!! First, the answer: Delete the hidden file called "DS_Store" in any folder that is giving your "View" troubles.... That's it! These files can get corrupted. You can find these files by using the Finder's search program (COMMAND+F), and then adding a second search parameter and make it search for "invisible" files.... Then, when you find the "DS_Store" file of the folder that is giving you issues, just select it and DELETE!!! Problems gone, as a new DS_Store file is created automatically.... Although I think that you have to logout/login first (that is what I did just in case).... LASTLY, this was a "carry-over" issue that I have been having for MONTHS, and was not a result of the upgrade to Panther... I just got sick of it NOW, that's all! All is fixed, thanks to the advice!
