I have previously posted about my troubles with my SCSI card and drives and Panther. Essentially the problem is I had to buy a ATA drive to get Panther to work and when I try and record or play Logic -where my audio files are on my SCSI drives - I get pops, clicks and buzzes. I was told now by three different sources that Panther does not work with Panther on a bootable SCSI drive (hence, the reason why I've got the ATA drive running Panther). I have an ATTO PCI DS SCSI card. ATTO tech has been kind in helping me and recently made the following statement: "Certain audio programs may require scsi cards to be set to a certain synch rate setting to work correctly." Do you know what that means? Thanks for any help you can provide. I know I should replace all of my SCSI for ATA and firewire drives, but there are years of work on the drives. you can respond privately if you want antcinq@...
