Well, I can only speak from experience and my OS X machine gets a
speed boost after every defrag. I do it every two weeks and it works
like a charm. And boom, faster working. Where is all this slowing
down stuff coming from? Did someone actually try doing it and found
it to be slower? Am I not paying attention to my system that I use
about 15 hours a day? Do I not know what it actually feels like for
the tasks I'm performing.. well... everyone judge for themselves, but
don't say things in a way where they sound like a fact. If it's your
experience that it's slower say so, because my experience is
certainly the opposite.

Cheers
Hans
