(bounced from the regular Logic list - not allowed by the admin) Coming from DP I was very surprised to find out how *extremely* limited and buggy Logic's audio-event quantizing options were. Does anyone have any opinion about Peak/LE or Protools/LE for editing loops and other audio? I have LogicPro on my desktop, but I don't want to carry the dongle around with my laptop and risk losing it. Peak seems like a nicer version of Logic's sample editor. ProtoolsLE seems to have nice features, but I have really had it with dealing with their drivers (since they are no longer supporting the AMIII). I guess the really cheapo version of Logic is no longer sold, Soundtrack is too expensive, and GarargeBand lacking in features. Any other ideas? I would like VST compatibility too (which Peak has).
