Actually, the person who posted the original mail almost immediately got a private mail from me and he apologized and as far as I know he did not reply to that thread anymore.
So the thread has been kept alive by other people.

I personally didn't mind the mail and was happy someone was sending something like this. As a matter of fact, you were moderated (don't ask me why, I just noticed myself then
too) and I passed the mail to the list.

I'm now actively moderating the thread. (and got some nice complaints on that already :-)))
