The Logic Off Topic list

Hi,

I'd like to invite those who have not voted yet on the poll concerning
OT mails and subscription to the OT list.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/logic-users/polls   It's the first poll in
the list.

The question is: should we subscribe everyone to the OT list and ban OT
mails from the LUG?
If you want to ask an OT question, you'd have to post it on the OT list.
For those who don't want to receive any OT, you could unsubscribe from
that OT list or put your account in web-only mode. For those who want
OT, there's no real change, except that everyone is then also on the OT
list.

Imo this could raise the quality of the logic users list. It would lower
traffic, get things more on topic etc. I think we could attact some more
hi-tech users (and officials maybe?) who would contribute to the list.

The people who've voted so far were quite clear. I think the final
decision might be taken within the next two weeks.
