Hi all

can anyone recommend me a freeware wav to mp3 converter ?
which runs on a mac osx.

I thought there would be many, but I have not really found one yet after some time searching.
Barbabatch looks cool but is not cheap, and I really hope to find a free one.

I was expecting itunes to do the job but surprisingly it would not !!!
itunes could convert aiff to mp3 no problem, but wav seemed to be a problem.

i have been asked to find this utility by a friend, who has no pro music software.
for my own use, I can just use logic pro to sort out these matters :-)
