It sounds to me like it's heavily quantized, because the timing is so 
precise, at least what I heard anyway, and that's limited. Drawing in 
the notes, and using arpegiators would be pretty much quantized, 
right?

  And I'm guessing you would think "pattern style" like the old 
sequencers, and drum machines programming. Also as someone said, using 
delays, and eko's sync'd would be a big help getting the effect to 
happen, also.
