Hi All, this is my 1st post here, All of the projects I've done so far have been created in and stayed in Logic 7's digital domain. Next year i want to put out a cd that includes vocals and some guitar etc. and really want to get a bigger, wider, warmer sound. I'd like to get your reccommedations on how to bump up to the next level. I don't own a console, channel strip or even a professional mic pre yet but am looking to make a purchase. Seems like the next thing i should try for is to send tracks out of Logic into some analog circuitry and then back in again. Currently i'm using MOTU's 2408 with a 424(?) PCI-card. Also have a Yamaha O1V with a light pipe that i use only to send external stuff (vocals/keys) into the 2408 and then into Logic. One suggestion i got was to purchase 2 Summit Audio TD100's Tube DI boxes and send my mix thru that. I'd like to know anyone's opinion on this particular suggestion. Any advice on this will be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tom
