I have a water cooled G5 PPC 2.5 dual. Sometimes it sounds like a jet taking off! So yes it does have fans and no it doesn't make it quieter... I like the idea of an isolation box... did you make it or did you buy it?... How hot does it get inside? Regards Hugo
