I would recommend Izotope Ozonic - some components of T-Racks aren't
bad, and Logic does have some good built-in stuff (Linear Phase EQ
and Multiband Compressor). However, none of these are a substitute
for a good mix. As a professional mastering engineer I'm finding that
way too many people are not taking their time to either mix properly
or hire someone to mix. They just mix half-way then slap on a bunch
of plug-ins and say it's "mastered". *HINT* - mastering has nothing
to do with which plug-ins or piece of equipment you use. The tracks
that come by me and require very little (if any) "mastering" all tend
to be from very experienced mix engineers working in great rooms.
Also, although I'm asked to on many occasions, I try not to master
tracks that I mix.
