This is typical behaviour when recording to , say, an audio track and an audioinst track simultaneously. Look for a number of posts on this subject from Len Sasso and myself in the lug list. Also try starting the recording on a midi track during the pre-roll and then switch to the audioinst track immediately, that should make it possible to record OK. Dave Eager
