Yo!,
First post to this list so this is a test as well - I've
yet to receive anything even though I've been subscribed several
days...compared to the main logic list it's a bloomin' library
in here!

Anyway...Joeri (Vankeirsbilck) I've responded to your post
from main LUG list as I know if anyone is subscribed here, you
surely must be! and, I guess LAB really is OT now :-(

File exchange is no harder than it would be across different
partitions within Windows. Simply right click anywhere
on the desktop and select 'Mount', you then have the
option of mounting any of your drives/partitions with
access to any of the files on them.

Considering that Be 5 Pro edition with all the bells & whistles
AND supported AND developing will be probably only around \ufffd45 and
to OEM/bundlers probably a lot less - the price of a cheap plug-in.
That will surely tempt many users in.

However, I wonder how much this is final curtains for LAB.
Why "On Ice" and not just 'Cancelled'? Is it a negotiating tactic
perhaps - coming just the week before Frankfurt at which Be
have announced their hosting of private discussions specifically
for Audio developers? Or 'on hold' really is corporate speak
for 'dead'.

A final OT within an OT - HardOCP are reporting the new
Coppermine Celeron 533 as overclocking with ease to 800 MHz
on a 100FSB! (No SMP though - Intel have caught up with
that little 'feature').
