Girls, sociologists, Americans, everybody gets put down on this list...:)) As far as I can see people who get buzzed by mathematics certainly can get laid if they also get buzzed by life, of which maths is an integral part. That's what potential partners respond to - people who live lives they enjoy, whatever it is they do... I found these exchanges interesting because I don't have much background in that area at all (mathematics, not girls) I realise that this is an application of the subject rather than the pure stuff, but it was on thinking about digital reverb and how you can use maths in the creation of something which sounds beautiful that I began to have a greater appreciation of how it might interest other people in a deeper way.
