[L-OT] LCD Screens and recording.

Does anybody know if there's much interference from LCD monitors? (that guitars etc. picks up) Currently I have two Eizo Flexscan Trinitron monitors. My problem is when I am alone in the studio and want to record guitar etc, and sit in front of the CRT monitors to record. It's so much noise/interference that I can't use the recordings. Now, I have to set LAP in record and run like hell into the speak box and play, and as you may imagine, that's not the way to go... Another solution is to turn off the monitors, but that's not a plausible way to go either. ;)

I hope using LCD screens would be a solution, but if it as much interference from LCD screens as from CRT monitors I still have a problem...

Someone, please advice!

LV

Cheaper solution: try a cordless keyboard and cordless mouse. Then you don't have to run to the booth, :-). Logitech will do.

Here I am answering my own thread...
I got my self an LCD screen and all my noise problems when recording guitar from the control room completely disappeared. Ah, what a wonderful life!!
