Howzit All

This is OT in the OT list at the moment what with theSept 11 and all that

Anyway I wonder if any of the clever people out there would know how to turn
a stereo output into a mono one.The reason for doing it is I use a Roland
SCP155 PCMCIA card in my laptop for live work (yes I know it's old but I do
Comedy/Cabaret and it's more that good enough for that) but in stereo the
"thump" goes out of the bottom end big time, it works better in mono and I
don't want to waste any mixer channels (I use a small Behringer 602,,,,easy
to carry on planes  etc.).I believe one can connect a couple of resistors
in series with the stereo out and then connect those two together into a
mono jack plug, but what values?Any ideas?
