And he explains it so clearly that even I can nearly understand it.

I wonder how many guitar players here actually eschew the method of 
tuning with harmonics at the 5th and 7th frets for this reason 
(creates pure, rather than equally tempered 4ths between adjacent 
strings) - a lot of players do use this method.

for team games :-))

I think that as guitar player you have to tune with the harmonics method. Especially when you play with distortion. When those harmonics on top join in, you will hear it. It just doesn't sound right. I've been wondering if this is the reason why when you put a synth through some distortion effect it doesn't sound as great as putting a guitar through the same effect. Maybe I'm 'hearing ghosts', :-).
