>I need to know two other examples of pairs of notes sharing the same >frequency ratio as a fifth is 1:1.5 ratio? >Right my first question was show on a treble stave two notes that could not >be played by this trumpet and explain why. >2. What is the mathematical ratio in frequency between the first two notes >of the melody. >Last one i'm stuck on is Give two examples of pairs of notes sharing the >same frequency ratio. Has this list become a "help Debbie do her homework" list? Why don't you read a book? Clearly you are in a class and the teacher wants you to learn something and has provided some materials for you to study. >You lot are very clever people. Because Acoustics is getting >hard. But I'm a woman who is willing to fight for it. I can do this. I >know i will understand it in the end. Great speech but its nonsense isn't it? If you are a woman or a man, who is willing to fight to understand a hard subject, then why don't you simply spend some time studying and pondering, and in that process you will learn the subject and learn to think more analytically. By taking the easy way out and getting on a list like this, and asking everyone to do your work for you, you are not 'fighting' but rather taking advantage of people here, and your classmates who don't have access to this list, and your teacher who is hoping you'll actually learn and study on your own. Frankly, I think your comments are the most sexist of any I have ever read on this list. People sometimes make jokes or comments which are not meant seriously. However, here you are, basically saying "I'm a <dumb> woman, so please help me....because I am a woman". I find that offensive to all women. Instead of pandering, winking and smiling, you should be demonstrating that you have the same level of intelligence and talent as men. Have some dignity and do your work the same way we all had to do.
