Tony,

Mackie have just announced the release of their HR624 series (like the
better known HR824's, but with a 6" instead of an 8" woofer, and slightly
less power from the built-in amplifiers).
I'm keen to hear these, as they are a bit more in my price range.

Something to consider.

In Australia there's only $200 difference between the two. And if you want
to get the new matched sub for the 624's it's the same price (aprox) as a
pair of the 624's. Thought about this myself but the pricing decided for me
that the HR824's are the way to go. YMMV.

Here in the US there's only $150 difference between HR824's ($1300) and
Dynadio BM6A's ($1450), plus the Dynaudio BX-30A sub looks *very* tastey, so
I decided to go with Dynaudio stuff myself.
