The Logic Off Topic list

With All the raves I hear about the Hammerfall series sound card, I 
think I want one. But why would I want the Hammerfall series card over 
the Digi96 series card? Does the digi96 series feature the same low 
latency as the Hammerfall for virtual instrument plugins, like my 
EXS24/ES1, and others.
   I'm currently using a Gadget Labs Wavepro 824, with my 
PIII450/100mhz bus and 256ram, and I may be getting around 12ms 
playing response. I would love to get that down to the 1.5-3ms that 
the Hammerfall series is supposed to achieve. Can I get that with the 
Digi96/8pst? I can get by with just a single ADAT interface at a time, 
and the spdif interface, and the stereo analog I/O is fine for me. I 
can always add the analog option if I need more analog I/O's than 
that.
