Any ideas on > how to speed that up would be very welcome. > RJ Ok, first of all there is some tools who are more powerfull than Imovie to compress a QT movie like CLEAN5...and few Soft are more quick than Imovie... look on google "video compression soft" etc... When u compress a QT movie, u apply a compression. I mean that the movie DE-compress on the fly and it takes more CPU usage than a non compress movie who is full Band... Better have a small size a QT movie than a compress one...
