tinyurl.com is awsome! I wonder how long the links last? Hopefully a while,
as I couldn't find any mention of a time limit on their web page. Regardless
though, that's a truly great idea. I'm going to have to start using that all
the time. :-) 

http://tinyurl.com/ano is the link to the LUG list policy..
http://tinyurl.com/anp is the link to the folder of (at least partially)
free on-line magazines I gathered in the LUG's Bookmarks esction.. The only
bad thing I can see about this service is that it's incredibly easy to
figure out what links other people have tinyurl'ed before, though it doesn't
really matter most of the time. Maybe in future versions of the webpage the
<whatever> part of the http://tinyurl.com/<whatever> link will be a little
longer than just 3 characters, and somewhat random so its not so easy to
guess the links other people have created.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
