OT: MacOS

Anyone know the purpose of the extension: PrefRestoreInit
It is part of the OS 9.2.1 extension set and cause a code error on boot up.
The only way to get going again is to reboot with ext off and turn it off n
the manager.
It doesn't seem to do anything about restoring system preferences, as they
are all happy!!
Regards,
Matt

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
