EMI2/6 Digital Multi-channel sound?

Is it possible to have digital-dolby- or dts-signals routed through the EMI2/6 and having it decoded by an external 5.1/DTS-decoder (which I have)? Please let me know! Analog routings in & out are working perfectly, but I'd wish I could route the digital audio (mostly from DVD) to my external 5.1/DTS-decoder. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
