Or control it manually. BTW, and this is a question to all Apple Mail users,
is there a way to manually control the message format the way I used to do
it in OE or Netscape, like checking if HTML is ticked in the format menu?
Not that familiar with the app yet, so my apologies in advance if the answer
is obvious.

I had a look and there is a menucommand [Format/make rich text/make 
plain text), but thats not as foolproof as the Communicator method of a 
dialog which asks before mail is sent.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
