I have been recently trying monitors to upgrade. I have yet to try the JBL
LSR28's but so far I like the HHB Circle 5 active Biamped along with a
  Event 15inch subwoffer.

This gives me a full range set-up down to about 28htz. serious volume, and
  clean.

The makies I found to be to hyped. Like small monitors trying to sound like
big ones. Don't get me wrong, they sound great, just a little too great for
me. Fine for writing and listening and having fun, but perhaps not so
accurate for mixing a variety of styles of music.

The event PS8 I found to be a bit underpowered, clip far to soon for me.
  Sounded pretty good however.

The genelec 1029 were a little to small for my room, and the 1030 way too
  expensive here in Australia.

The Dyneaudio BSM6 again a little to small and the BSM10 sounded great but
were huge sitting on the console shelf, plus I liked my JBL 4412's in the
  wall better.

I have yet to try (but are going to) Yamaha MSP10, KRK expose 8's, JBL
  LSR28's .

But I think the HHB's may be the one's for me.
