Dividing Folders into specific sizes

Dividing Folders into specific sizes

2003-04-12 by Hans Hafner

Hi there,

I'm sure there are a lot of people here that have the same problems as me:

You record a project and then you end up with a lot of data (doh...)

When burning it would be so handy (and I don't understand, why Toast
doesn't just have that built in) to have a tool, where you drop the
project folder on (or open it or whichever way, I don't care) and
then that tool would would create folders that have a specific size
(lets say 650 MB for a CD, 4.3 GB for DVD, etc)

This would make it so much easier than to always remember which one
of the million files called Lead Vox #... was still on the last disc
and where I start burning now...

Anyway, I know there is a project on Sourceforge called Burn To The
Brim that does just that, but it's for PC and I do love my Mac and
I'm not getting a PC for just that application.

If you know of a tool for the Mac this would greatly be appreciated.

Cheers
Hans

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
