Hi there

What are some of the setup-ideas here in this community on how to 
handle backups while still having access to all the data all time?

My ideas so far:
1. big towers of Firewire drive
pro: obviously the not so expensive solution,
con: in order to have backups of data the user will have to be sure 
to always have two copies of every folder),
2. RAID system
pro: no thinking, data always available, depending on setup 
automatically two copies of every file/folder
con: expense

Now I am aware that data security should always be a priority and the 
argument against it not money, however, budget is always an issue
