The Logic Off Topic list

When i installed Logic, it said logic was speeding up my menus.  Now 
my start menu pops up too fast. how do i fix this? BTW, i am running 
windowsXP.

Yeah, I hate what this "tweak" does. Especially when they don't
give you  a way to reverse it. Anyway, other than using some
utility to make the change you're gonna have to go into the
registry:

Start/Run/Regedit

Go to 'Edit' in the menu, click on 'Find' and type in:

MenuShowDelay

Keep hitting 'Find Next' or 'F3' as there's four or five entries
for this, and, if no other program has changed the speed as well,
they'll either read '400' (the default) or '0' - the latter being
the one(s) that Logic changed.  Right-click on the 'MenuShowDelay'
entry and click 'Modify'. If you don't want to put it back to the
default, try different numbers to get the speed you want.

I'm pretty sure this tip will be in the regular LUG archives though
and, doubtlessly, better and more authoritatively explained than my
attempt ...actually, as it's a general Windows tweak, put
'MenuShowDelay' into a search engine and you'll probably find _the_
definitive method somewhere - i.e.  don't trust mine !!
