Oh, Breaks are where I am at. I am a huge freeland fan as well as Plump DJ's, PMT, Sascha has been breaks for a while, Koma & Bonez, etc..... My girlfriend is a breaks freak as well, and I have been loving breaks since I was raving in Orlando, FL in '92. That was back when Icey was just getting seriously started, and I knew nothing of house for quite some time. I would love to possibly work on some tracks with you. pfokus > -----Original Message----- > From: nickshim1 [mailto:nickshim@...] > Sent: Friday, September 19, 2003 8:51 AM > To: logic-ot@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [L-OT] Any breaks fans? > > Hey all, > > Just wondering if there was anyone here interested in stuff like > Hybrid, Freeland, Plump DJ's etc... looking for people to natter > with, maybe even hook up to make tunes etc... :) Italy, that's just around the corner from Austin. The world is a very small place these days. ...pfokus.... on the breaks > -----Original Message----- > From: Federico Ciapi [mailto:federico.ciapi@...] > Sent: Friday, September 19, 2003 9:56 AM > To: logic-ot@yahoogroups.com > Subject: Re: [L-OT] Any breaks fans? > > > Maybe we should all team up and give it a shot. (not that I'm a really good producer, anyway) May be we could try a nice bootleg? I'm skilled with drums ! are you on any forum dedicated to breaks?

I am not yet, but if you can recommend one that would be great. I also am fairly new to producing with Logic, but this sounds like a great way to learn more. I am currently going through the Logic 6 book by Apple. The first 5 chapters so far has been very basic, but I have still picked up a few new tricks. Drums are something that I am trying to get better at, as well as everything else. Let's do it. Let's try and do something around the globe. I would suggest something like a cross between PMT and Adam Freeland, so kind of the heavy, gritty, natural drum sound [i.e. rock band] with some wicked deep evolving pad like this track is trying to escape from the basement of breaks, the dungeon with some funk nu skool elements. What do you think? I am all ears. Also, we can start to move to emails directly to get off the OT list. pauls@... is mine pfokus or Paul Stephenson > -----Original Message----- > From: Federico Ciapi [mailto:federico.ciapi@...] > Sent: Friday, September 19, 2003 11:04 AM > To: logic-ot@yahoogroups.com > Subject: Re: [L-OT] Any breaks fans? > > > :) Italy, that's just around the corner from Austin.
