Re: [LUG] [OT] :G5?

Hi Paul, My new dual G5 is very quiet. Much quieter than my recent studio machine, a 2 GHz Pentium 4, but not as quiet as my friends 17" Powerbook. I've been finishing five projects on the G5 so far and was never disturbed by the fan noise. Vocals are recorded here in the same room, although I'm compressing and using an expander, before AD converting, to carefully fade out background noise between the notes. -- Best wishes Per Boysen www.boysen.se
