Ok, give me a bit of time though. I'm up to my ears in work.
I'll make them available for download somewhere in case anyone
else wants them.

Please, no! ;-) I recently backed up my samples partition
and to my horror discovered it was approaching 20Gb - most
of it drums!

Bad news, I'm afraid. I hauled the thing out from under the rotting
laundry but, here's a surprise, it didn't work. The LED's are all
fine and even the clock out and metronome ports are giving signals
but, seemingly, the EPROMs are all dead. I've had it in the same
room as a dehumidifier for a week and gone over all the contacts
and pots with Caig 'DeOxit' but still nowt. I can't find the
manual either - it may just be a case of having to replace a lithium
battery but, lifting up the hood, I can't see any sign of one.

However, within just the first three pages of a Google search
(with another 100 odd pages left) for 'Drumtraks + samples':-

http://www.denhaku.com/r_box/drumtraks/drumtraks.htm
http://www.tictokmen.com/sample/

http://sustenance.va.com.au/d/mirage/library.html
http://www.peakinmusic.de/peakin/pages_en/download.shtml

A note with at least one of the above claimed 16bit/44kHz resolution.
You'll also find practically every other vintage drum machine
known to man or beast at some of those URL's too.

I see there's also a soundfont of it, including other SCI classics,
online for $9.95. The EXS24 and various utilities can convert
soundfonts to wavs/aifs:

http://www.soundfont.com/downloads/sonido_sequential.asp

- I daresay, Creative's recording of it will at least be as
good as my humble Audiowerk2.

There appear to be several CD's available too.

Sorry, I couldn't help personally. (I have finally put the
laundry in the washing machine, however).

i looked at this sequencer once, but didn't really do much with it, having
already sunk a lot of money into logic.

it looks... kinda strange. has anyone here ever used it?

15 years ago. I am rather shocked to see it still hanging on. I
noticed when I looked at the "buy" page to try and check out the
price they only listed the LE version. Can the full version not be
bought on line?

It really really sucks. I helped an amateur musician friend of mine try to
get it up and running on his Mac about a year and a half ago. I could not
get it to route audio at all. And it generally just is a bad piece of
software in my opinion. It would absolutely not work with his Echo Gina. I
got him to buy Logic Silver instead, which installed and was working with
audio in half an hour.
