Frequency curves?

Frequency curves?

2004-03-06 by dollenmayer

Hello All! I am using Logic 4.8 for Windows. Just curious if anyone
knows if there is a way to see a "picture" of the "frequency curves"
for an audio track or an entire mix. I know Pro tools and Cubase
have a way to see this, and a way to compare to another audio track
as well. I know on the arrange screen I can see the amplitude of the
wave, but I don't know how to break it down to individual frequencies
or if there is a way. thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

I don't think you can do that in 4.8 - in 6.0 there's
a new Eq plug in that also analyzises the sourse. If
you put that on the main outs you can monitor the
frequency curve.

Regards
Salme

Wow. Thanks for the advice on the "Inspector" that was exactly what I
was looking for. Thanks Again. It works great!!! Great for comparing
the spectrum to my favorite mixes by the pros.
