Anybody tried out the M-Audio Octane?

Hey there, I'm looking for an 8-channel ADAT-capable preamp w. WC in to hook up to a Metric Halo Mobile I/O's ADAT port... I was wondering if anybody tried out the M-Audio Octane yet? Or, if anybody knows of a not too expensive alternative solution, I'd appreciate some feedback... Thanx! P.S.: Although we're on a budget @ my studio, the Behringer ADA 8000 is out of the question..;-) Cheerz, Martin E
