Logic 7 bla bla bla

2004-08-04 by Hans Hafner

Hi there,

is anyone besides me who thinks that the next upgrade is going to be
really cool?

I mean, just the fact that there wasn't a small update in month now
makes me think they must be cooking up really interesting stuff over
in Rellingen

Can't wait for that to happen

Cheers
Hans

the stellar-coolest thing I can think of is

bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix bugfix

and actually, I don't think we are supposed to pay for that.

Speculation mode on :-) .

1. Totally re-designed (simplified) UI (for DP/SX/PT converts to feel
at home from the first minute) with an option for us, old users/fans,
to still be able to work in the usual way.
2. Support for Apple loops and other Acid like bells and whistles.
3. Fulll TDM integration (the way it was in 4.x and 5.x), including
fully functional ESB.
4. Better Rewire support, including Rewire slave mode.
5. SoundDiver and WaveBurner incorporated in Logic (both still
available as stand-alone apps).
6. (almost forgot) Support for broadcast wave format (timestamping,
exporting region definitions, etc.).
(Can't think of anything else at the moment)

Speculation mode off :-) .

Best,

Andy

Yes!!! Sing it over and over to the tune of the B52's Loveshack.
"Bugfix, baby bugfix, Bugfix, baby bugfix.......

And while we're on the subject has anyone else noticed the increasing
number of graphics and redraw issues Pro has been having?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
