Logic Pro 8 and 10.5

There has been post on various sites that people are having trouble with the
performance of Logic Pro 8 with 10.5. Is anyone running logic Pro 8 with
10.5 successfully?

Yes. Even very successful. Might be worth noting that everything is freshly
installed, no updates, archive functions or migration assistents and
whatsoever.
Extremely stable and very efficient.
Seems to be like that for quite some people using the most recent machines,
OSX.5 and fresh installs.

Fwiw, this does seem to be pretty much ON topic.

Sascha

I am certainly running 10.5 with Logic Studio!

Tested and approved on my 2 macbookpro's and the tower!
We are running huge automation and all virtual plugs and synths, with plenty of audio tracks as well.

I would say there is conflicts with certain hardware (audio interfaces) I would look into that first as a suggestion, research compatibility issues.
I am using the Motu 828mk2 and most of the time no interface at all since I am mixing on the road right now.

However, the word around the office is that the Miko & Niko really lack in
the A/D conversion and sound card. The Niko actually has prosonus card
sticking out the back in, which I hear looks pretty tacky. Rumor has it the
Niko is expected to have a revamp coming soon. So if your really considering
it, maybe A good idea to hold out. I¹ll dig a little deeper tomorrow. Are
you considering purchasing one? For what reason? Honestly, if it where me,
I would pickup the Fantom G by Roland. I have been learning this a little
everyday, and it is wicked! This workstation blows away anything I¹ve played
yet. Check it out. I could get you a great deal on this guy

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
